Galapagos / Ecuador 2018

This year we fulfilled a dream - we visited the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador. We traveled to Quito, the city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then it went for 4 days in the rainforest on the Rio Napo and then for 14 days on the sailing ship BEAGEL. Then we traveled with a rental car into the highlands to El Angel National Park.

Our dream was not only fulfilled in all respects, but even exceeded. We were deeply impressed by the variety of flora and fauna and the friendliness of the people.

Quito is a great and absolutely worth seeing city with many beautiful churches and old, colonial buildings.

The animal noises in the jungle, the variety of plants and animals that live there, the rides in the canoe that glided quietly over the water, the large trees, the different islands of the Galapagos group with lava, sand, stones, mangroves, countless lizards , thousands of birds, animals that show no fear of humans, the big tortoises, snorkeling with sea lions, sharks, rays, turtles and large schools of fish and finally the highlands with volcanoes, old Polylepis trees and the incredible Fralejones plants - all we will remember that forever.

Have fun traveling with you ....
