Norway 2017
There was hardly any time for our travel planning this year. The only preparation was buying a guide and booking the ferry from Kristiansand (Denmark) to Hirtshals (Norway) a week before departure. It was the first long trip with our motorhome and with Kenai, our snuffling nose. By the way, he still needed proof of a worming cure shortly before departure ;-)
We were thrilled when we arrived in Norway. The landscape is just terrific! Quite comparable to Canada or Alaska! We drove over the fjords to Trondheim and through the inland through national parks such as Dovrefjell and Jotunheimen. Despite or maybe because of the unbelievable vastness, we saw comparatively few animals. However, we were very impressed by the varied landscape!
Visiting old cultural evidence was also very interesting, such as the old mining town of Roros and especially the many beautiful old stave churches.
Have fun traveling with you :-)
