About my photos and what makes them so special
It is very fortunate for me that I have already passed my passion and creativity before now
15 years into a profession! What could be nicer to get to know different people and their beloved animals again and again. There are very special moments with every shoot. It is very emotional for me when animals open up to me and I can capture the soul, strength and beauty and also the special relationship with their people on my pictures.
The dynamics of movement, the play of muscles and facial expressions, gentle moments and also funny moments, moods with light and nature - composing all of this into an expressive photo is so appealing to me and for that I live with all my passion for animals, to nature and photography.

Outtakes

Nature and Travel ....
I am particularly grateful that I have already been able to make many wonderful trips to distant countries such as Africa, USA, Alaska, Egypt, Canada, Ecuador, etc. If possible, we always travel "on our own", with rental cars, motorhomes or four-wheel drive vehicles and roof tents. Even if you have to restrict yourself a bit in terms of space, it has the great advantage of being able to freely decide where and when you want to stay. The luxury is to be very close to nature, to sit by the campfire in the evening and to listen to the nocturnal voices of nature in the roof tent.
We have had so many exciting and unforgettable animal encounters in the wild.
Linda's statement this year, she is a nature guide on the Amazon, was very interesting for me: "Be in a good mood and always be positive, then the animals will show themselves!" ... and we saw a lot of animals :-)

drawings
I loved drawing when I was a little kid. As I got older, horses were mostly my motive. I was particularly proud when a drawing by Ibn Moheba II was exhibited in the baroque palace of Ludwigsburg on the occasion of the Asil Cup. That was in 1988.
I had postponed drawing for a few years, due to house building and children there was simply too little time. Then I drew our turtle Susi, the neighbor dog Snoopy and the fever was awakened again. At the annual exhibition on the greyhound racetrack in Lorch, I presented my first drawings and photos of Afghans. The first orders followed on the same day. At that time I would not have thought that this day would be the starting signal for a great and wonderful change in my life.
